Is This You? (2007) is an experimental body of work produced during my MA studies at the Royal College of Art. According to the myth everyone has a Doppelganger, an identical copy of themselves somewhere in the world. If the person is good, then the Doppelganger will be evil and vice versa. By posting a photograph of myself with the accompanying text Is This You? on different online, pre-social media, platforms and on notice boards around London I invited people to send a photograph of themselves to me if they thought they could be me. I would then meet with them and photograph them in the studio. Sarah, with her cropped bleached hair, blue eyes, and goofy smile become my ultimate Doppelganger.
